The Frog & the Crow

Don’t make anxiety real

Said the frog to the crow, “Don’t make anxiety real.”

The crow jumped around on his branch and cawed, “I have an ADHD brain, I’ve always been depressed.  I’m sure I’m going to get shot at by farmer Sam.  And plus, there’s less worms this year!”

The frog spit out a fly and said, “At some point you’re going to get tired of those stories.  Anxiety comes from standing in your scary thoughts, looking at your scary thoughts.  Such as your demise and lack.”

The crow stopped jumping on his branch.

The frog added, “And those scary thoughts create—instantly!—horrible sensations in your body.  Then you notice the bad sensations and think there’s something wrong with you.  So you raid the farmer’s wife’s medicine cabinet for her CBD.”

“But she’s crazy, she once tried to—” the crow interjects.

The frog turns and says, “And now you have made anxiety real.”

Don't make anxiety real.

Anxiety comes from standing in your scary thoughts, looking at your scary thoughts 👀....

...and noticing how the body is responding to those scary thoughts ⛈

...those terrible thoughts, those untrue thoughts 🎭

This is why anxiety is not destiny.

It can seem like anxiety sprouts from the body and needs treatment at the body level.  But these are old memories the bodys super-intelligent cells have held onto.  They are “body thoughts” and can dissolve by relaxing deeply and not cursing them.

Instead, don’t let anxiety take root in the first place.

It’s as simple as:  Refuse to give those scary thoughts your attention.

Because you vote your with your attention.

Focus gives more of.

Rather, pay attention to your soul, the Stillness within, and you will have its qualities:  peace, creativity, joy.

Turn to your eternal Source.

Return to the Stillness within.

Choose for appreciation, gratitude and love.

You are so much larger than your thoughts.
